How do I request a book or article delivery?
Answer
-
Search the Library Catalog or Database: Find the book or article you need by searching the library's catalog or databases.
-
Request Through Interlibrary Loan (ILL):
- If the item is not available in your library, use the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. For books, you can request a physical copy, and for articles, a digital version is often delivered.
- Access the ILL system through the library’s website and log in using your library credentials.
-
Library Delivery Services:
- If you're a distance learner or need delivery to another LMU campus location, you can request book delivery through the library’s book delivery service. Indicate your desired delivery location or pick-up point when submitting the request.
-
Submit Your Request: Fill out the required forms with details like the title, author, and publication date. For article requests, include the journal name and page numbers if available.
-
Check Your Email: The library will notify you via email when your book is ready for pick-up or when the article is available for download.
Library staff can assist with any questions you have about delivery services!
